Welcome to meet Taija Turunen, an Associate Professor at the Department of Management Studies at Aalto University. Her current research focuses on innovation, ecosystems and business model design, particularly in the context of services and digital platforms. She explores creative business model evolution pathways, as well as ethical decision-making and identity work in managerial roles. 

In this webinar, you get a short introduction to the research topic, followed by an open discussion with the professor on how to encourage curious exploration in organisations.

Meet the Professor webinar series

Meet the Professor webinar introduces different research topics and allows participants to discuss the themes with Aalto University professors. These webinars are a great way for alumni to stay up-to-date about the university's latest research, and they are also open for anyone interested to learn about the topic. 

The online webinar is easy to join from wherever you are, and the duration of one hour makes it convenient for anyone with a busy schedule. These webinars will be organized so that alumni living in different time zones would be able to join. The next webinar will be about machine learning for the people by associate professor Alexander Jung in the end of 2025.
