Love letters to our clothes brings together the stories of garments and their wearers, exploring the complex and deeply personal ways we form attachments to our clothing. Through interviews and photography, we have gathered a diverse collection of narratives, memories, identities and relationships.
Rather than focusing on fashion as a trend and consumption, the exhibition shifts the focus to garments as a medium that holds value through experience and invites the visitor to reflect on the relationships to their own garment.
The exhibition is a collaboration of and Aalto Repair & Rewear.
