Doctoral Student! Are you interested in learning about the impact your research can have in society? Do you want to discover new dimensions of your research while listening to our keynote speakers and fellow doctoral students speak about AI and its relevance in society? Or perhaps you just want to meet and mingle with fellow doctoral students and learn what their research is all about? In either case, join us for this year’s CS S4 Scientific Symposium by Students for Students.
This year’s theme is “AI for the public good” and we will feature two keynote talks by (Utrecht University) and (Top Data Science). In addition, our event will include a wellbeing session with (Aalto University psychologist), free remote lunch & short presentations by other doctoral students, mingling opportunities, a quiz competition, and if allowed a get-together outdoors after the event.
The official part of the event will be held over zoom, on Thursday, 10 June at 12:00-17:00.

CS S4 is a yearly networking event for doctoral students of Computer Science. This year, the event is organized by doctoral students from Aalto University and University of Helsinki in collaboration with the Helsinki Doctoral Education Network in Information and Communications Technology . The local organizers are Nidia Obscura Acosta, Onur Poyraz, Tolou Shadbahr and Mine Ögretir.
