Aalto Open Science Award Ceremony, May 20, 2025

Come celebrate the winners and runners-up of the Aalto Open Science Award 2024! Complimentary coffee and ice cream will be served after. No registration is required, so remember to add the event to your calendars.
Aalto Open Science Award Ceremony, May 20, 2025, 1-2.30pm, Mordor A Grid, Otakaari 5 02150 Espoo. Programme: Welcome words, award video screening, AALTOLAB, Aki Vehtari, Rupesh Vyas, panel discussion on open science, coffee & ice cream. All Aaltonians welcome!

The programme includes a screening of the award video introducing the winner, (Professor Antti Karttunen, Samuel Girmay, Jarno Linnera, Minna Nieminen and Kirsi Yliniemi), presentations by AALTOLAB, and runners-up Professor Aki Vehtari, and Associate Professor Rupesh Vyas, and a panel discussion on open science. After the panel, complimentary coffee and ice cream (non-dairy options available) will be served.

We are not collecting registrations, so everyone is welcome to just show up! Remember to mark your calendars by clicking the Add to calendar button above.

Please note that there will be still photography at the event which may include photos of the audience. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the photographer at the event.
