Maija Fagerlund
Lecturer in Textiles
Maija Fagerlund, MA, is a textile designer and Lecturer in Textile Design at the Department of Design. Her main areas of interest include woven fabric design, surface design, and exploring colouration finishes in textiles. Combining these areas in jacquard fabric design is especially close to her heart. Maija is dedicated to honouring textile traditions while constantly seeking out novel approaches in textile design.
