Thread of Life is an animated short film about the nature of life and consciousness. It was born out of exploration and following the flow. Not knowing where you're going can take you places you didn't know existed.
This project explores the spirit and the unseen, the imagined and the felt, the exciting mystery of all that is. It tries to catch glimpses of the elusive world through movement and sound. Some people call it faith, others the universe, and some say it is the ethereal place they go to when they play music. I find glimpses of this world extra intriguing and like to explore the connection between it and reality in my creative work.
The animation, sound and storytelling gently invite the viewer to sense what it might be like to feel our way through life. We live in a world of opposites, so what kind of world would we live in if we valued balance?
