Liikkuva puu

Lighting
Lit up dome shape on the left and a lamp on the right

Liikkuva puu is based on the papier mâché approach. By layering nonwoven and experimenting with different transparency. This technique resulted in interesting textures which are translated into lights.

Lit up paper mache dome like shapes

The layering technique was done by hand on different molds. Shape was also at the core of the project, searching the perfect surface to serve as a lamp.
