In Nearness by Yash Gupta

Winter forests are silent and still. But beneath thick blankets of snow, life in the form of mosses, lichens and insects thrive. What might seem dormant, is alive. The forest is listening. And if you move closer, it begins to speak.
This interactive artefact reacts to the viewer’s proximity using spruce cones as an instrument, recreating that experience of discovery.
