Capacity Enhancement in Electrical Equipment Condition Monitoring and Fault Diagnostics (CEEECoM)
CEEECoM project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union for the action Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE). CBHE action supports international cooperation projects based on multilateral partnerships between organisations active in the field of higher education. It supports the relevance, quality, modernisation and responsiveness of higher education in third countries not associated to the Programme for socio-economic recovery, growth and prosperity.
Aalto University is the project coordinator. The project duration is three years starting January 2023.
About the project
The purpose of this project is to address the problems related to expert workforce in the field of diagnosis, monitoring, and maintenance of the power systems and related components in the partner countries Nepal and Bhutan by bringing innovation in higher education teaching and learning methods to fill the expertise gap and enhance its relevance for the labor market and the society. The project will help Nepal and Bhutan to produce in-house human resources in the field of condition monitoring of power equipment making both the countries independent of external consultants.
Activities
To achieve the goal of the project, the project is implemented by carrying out the tasks in five major activity groups: 1. Case studies (for evidence-based teaching and learning development) 2. Challenge Assessment 3. Software/Tools development and Trainings 4. Modernization/Upgrading of the curriculum 5. Mobility

Scientific conclusions depend on who performs the analysis
More than 450 independent researchers from around the world conducted over 500 re-analyses of datasets from one hundred previously published studies in the social and behavioural sciences. All analysts received the same data and the same central research question, but they were free to carry out the analysis based on their own expert judgment.
