Niklas Jensen-Eriksen, PhD, is the Casimir Ehrnrooth Professor of Business History and a member of the multidisciplinary Helsinki Institute of Sustainability Science (HELSUS) at the University of Helsinki. Jensen-Eriksen has led numerous research projects as well as the multidisciplinary Department of Philosophy, History and Art Studies. He serves as chair of the Finnish Society for Economic History and is a member of the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters. Jensen-Eriksen has published extensively on entrepreneurship, the pulp, paper, timber, and energy sectors, the history of the circular economy, relations between the state and business, regulation, cartels, political economy, and the history of media.
