About the minor
Aalto Communication Studies aims to equip students with knowledge, attitude, skills and critical awareness needed for effective and ethical interaction in diverse professional environments. This minor offers theoretical perspectives on interpersonal and intercultural communication but is also highly practical. All courses as part of this minor have a small group size, which allows students to actively develop and gain personalized feedback on their communication competence. Working methods include interactive activities, practices and simulations, small group discussions, giving and receiving feedback and reflection on encounters and relationships.
You can use the skills and knowledge gained from this minor in various professional roles and positions. You will have communicative competence essential for working as a leader, a member of a team, or a specialist in your field.
