Artificial intelligence model developed by Finnish researchers predicts which key of the immune system opens the locks of coronavirus

With an artificial intelligence (AI) method developed by researchers at Aalto University and University of Helsinki, researchers can now link immune cells to their targets and for example uncouple which white blood cells recognize SARS-CoV-2. At the School of Engineering's Teaching Forum, Samuel Cross, who has just received the Award for Achievements in Teaching together with Annukka Santasalo-Aarnio, will give a presentation on 鈥淐hallenge-based education in an online environment鈥. In February 2021, Cross and Santasalo-Aarnio were awarded the Dean鈥檚 recognition for developing challenge-based learning and co-teaching in distance education.
