Dr. Dorothea Golze awarded an Academy of Finland post-doc fellowship

For her project "New frontiers in computational spectroscopy: Advancing the GW method for molecular core excitations" Dorothea, post-doctoral researcher in the CEST group, was awarded a fellowship from the Academy of Finland. This post-doctoral fellowship will support Dorothea's research in Finland for the next three years.

Optimized storage for solar energy

Recent research at Aalto University shows that a solar photovoltaic system could benefit even from a small energy storage. Adding storage less than 1/4 of an EV-battery could increase the PV share of a household's electricity to 70% on a yearly basis.
