Aalto graduates鈥 transition to working life and their experience of studies and careers are monitored annually through a career monitoring survey. The responses to the survey provide important information about the work life of graduates, both for current students and for young people considering their future studies. In addition, the information collected is used to develop Aalto University鈥檚 teaching and services.

New End-of-Course Survey Template Launches on August 8, 2025
On Friday, August 8, 2025, a new end-of-course survey template will be in use for all end-of-course surveys. This change will happen automatically in the course feedback tool and does not require any actions from teachers. The new survey template will include a new set of course feedback questions. The previous survey template will be closed permanently.

What particularly interests her about the field is its relevance to the future and the practical nature of the studies. Preparing curricula 2026鈥2028: update descriptions and give your preferences for times and locations by the end of January
The teacher responsible for each course updates or writes the description of the study unit and study unit implementations for the next curriculum period, meaning academic years 2026-2027 and 2027-2028. Updating the descriptions carefully now minimizes needs for changes during the curriculum period. Therefore, it is advisable to reserve sufficient time for the work. At the same time, the teachers responsible give prefences for time and location reservations as well as other needs, e.g. for equipments needed in the lecture hall, for the academic year 2026-2027. Teachers responsible update the information on study units and study unit implementations in the Curriculum Planner service.
Preparing curricula 2026鈥2028: Plan the study offering by the end of November
Planning the offering of teaching in the coming academic years is topical in departments and in programmes. This means updating the selection of courses as well as selection of majors and minors. Also the significant changes both in courses and their implementations as well as in majors and minors are planned during autumn. It is important that all teachers responsible for a course, major and/or minor participate in the planning.
