Aalto University’s TUTLI project eParkly gathers the parking related data on the A Grid parking area to develop future parking solutions

eParkly pilot begins on the A Grid parking area (A Grid B Otakaari 5, area code 541) on Monday 29th of March 2021. eParkly is a platform for providing a better parking experience to car drivers by real-time sensing of parking area utilization rates.

Helsinki would need at least 5,000 intermediate-deep geothermal wells to meet the energy demands in district heating – researchers call for more studies

Geothermal energy wells are being explored as a way to provide district heating to cities and suburbs. A new study suggests that fields of wells connected to existing heating systems, instead of individual wells, should be studied.
