Aalto University Accessibility Implementation Plan 2022–2024

President Ilkka Niemelä confirmed the Aalto University Accessibility Implementation Plan for 2022–2024 on 1st February, 2022. The plan is based on the Aalto University strategy and supports well-being work and the work of the Aalto University Equality Committee. The implementation plan is attached as an appendix to the Aalto University Equality Plan. This page is for monitoring the implementation.

Multifactor Authentication at Aalto Services

Students using Aalto services (such as Sisu or Mycourses) outside the Aalto network will no longer be able to log in to Sisu with just their Aalto user ID. In addition, they will have to authenticate themselves by a further authentication process using their smart phone.

Requesting rectification to the 2026 student admissions to master’s programmes

It is possible to submit a written request to rectify the admission decision within 14 days of the publication of the results.

The purpose of the rectification request procedure is to allow applicants to appeal against the admission decision on the grounds of an error in the decision-making.
