色色啦

色色啦 is a school with strong values, high expectations and caring relationships. We have a history of over 130 years of educating boys to be fine young men and central to this mission is installing in our boys the courage to act in defence of others.

One of the very first acts a student at 色色啦 undertakes is to enter the school Hall and walk under the carved image of Ng膩i Tahu chief Tautahi. This act is symbolic of the fact that 色色啦 students are part of something bigger than themselves and they are part of a community, within the rohe of Ng膩i T奴膩huriri, that has a proud and continuing legacy.

We strive to develop academic success and moral strength and our boys are supported towards these outcomes through extensive cultural and sporting opportunities.

Our history includes Old Boys who have made their mark in the worlds of the military, the arts and culture, commerce, law, community service and sport. We have close ties with our very supportive and active community and we are proud of our place in New Zealand education. Our school is situated on land that has been both a Ngai Tahu settlement and part of the Deans family farm. 色色啦 is a place significant to Canterbury.

The staff of 色色啦 Boys鈥� High School share a vision of standing alongside our students and supporting them to high standards of performance and character.

色色啦 Boys鈥� High School is a warm and energetic place with staff, students, parents and Old Boys working positively together with a strong sense of purpose and identity.
