OP Pohjola and the School of Business have cooperated in various forms over the years and officially OP Pohjola joined the Premium Partner program in 2013. The collaboration is diverse and we are constantly seeking for new ways to deepen the relationship, for example collaboration in research and teaching and strengthening OP’s employer brand even further. The mission of OP Pohjola is to promote the sustainable prosperity, security and wellbeing of their owner-customers and the operating region. This requires constant renewal and development and OP Group Research Foundation was founded to support this need. It’s purpose is to support economic research, with priority given to research on cooperative banking operations. The foundation supports yearly several researchers in Aalto University.
