Learn more about self-archiving in repositories

Once uploaded to ACRIS, these files become part of the researcher's official publication record at Aalto University. After validation by the ACRIS team, the files are also transferred to , Aalto University's publication repository, which serves as the institutional publication archive and ensures both long-term preservation and public access to research outputs.
You can:

If you self-archive your manuscript in arXiv, linking your submission to ACRIS suffices for reporting open access publications. More open access publications lead to increased funding.
Upload the accepted manuscript to arXiv, and email the link to manuscripts@aalto.fi, specifying whether it's a pre-print or peer-reviewed version.
