The application period for FITech's autumn courses is open

Would you like to update your skills or learn something completely new this autumn? Increase your knowledge on different topics on university courses offered by FITech Network University. The courses are free of charge for Finns and permanent residents of Finland.

Apply now, study in the autumn

The application period is on-going for all of the courses that start next autumn. First courses start in the beginning of September.

The courses are related to digitalisation and renewable energy. There are studies available in, for example, mathematics, industrial engineering, programming, artificial intelligence (AI), accessibility, wind power, and hydrogen economy. The course selection includes courses of various levels, from beginner to advanced, and there are courses offered in Finnish, English and Swedish.

Many of the FITech courses available in autumn 2024 can be completed online. Please check the detailed course descriptions from each course's own page before submitting your application. 

 

Please note that due to our funding, the FITech courses are offered free of charge only for Finnish people and permanent residents of Finland.

Aalto's FITech courses

Aalto University offers courses related to industrial engineering, sustainable development, cybersecurity, programming, and renewable energy through FITech.

Please note that if you're a degree student in Finland and the course is organised by your home university, you must enroll for the course normally in the university's own system.

What is FITech?

FITech (The Finnish Institute of Technology) is a network consisting of nine universities offering education in technology in Finland: Aalto University, University of Eastern Finland, University of Jyväskylä, LUT University, University of Oulu, Tampere University, University of Turku, Ã…bo Akademi University and University of Vaasa. Founding members are also Technology Industries of Finland (Teknologiateollisuus) and the Academic Engineers and Architects in Finland (TEK). FITech Network University is coordinated by Aalto University.

The founding mission of FITech is to increase the co-operation of Finnish technical universities. The goal is to guide experts to growth sectors in Finland and respond to competence needs arising in the field of technology. The projects of FITech network are funded by the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Service Center for Continuous Learning and Employment (SECLE).
